After reading the comments posted on this video, I think they’re ridiculous. I love the bags and the hair is so poofy and lush! There’s even bows in some of the fros. I’m a heels person, so I didn’t swoon over the flats, but the details definitely caught my attention. As for the clothes, I found the short garments adorable. The whole line comes across as very playful, almost that sickening cute that few can pull off well. But I would absolutely wear some of these things. I would love to know what the message/intent/concept was behind this line. It’s so interesting.
Christian Siriano, no surprises here. I was a little put off by the beginning, the first ten outfits or so. If you have seen Project Runway, then it was typical Christian. But then it started to pique my interest. Especially the satin pieces. I was so glad to see they weren’t overworked. I thoroughly enjoyed the splashes of blue and the black-gold outfits. The last model had me hypnotized, the way she worked the runway. Overall, I liked it. I wouldn’t say I’m head over heels, gasping for breath in awe. 8 out of 10.

Who: A young Greek designer by the name of Mary Katrantzou.
What: Her designs feature perfume bottles, created by Gaultier and Givenchy, that compliment that elegant womanly shape.
When, Where: Debuting her line in London for Fashion Week during September.
Why am I in love with this: She doesn’t let the perfume bottle concept out do the model. She uses color well, nothing bright and garish but yet nothing is really muted and forgettable.Her look is clean and sophisticated, but I cringe at those high boots that hang so loose for those short dresses! I think make up for this line could have been better, could have tied in with clothing more, but that’s just me and my haute couture obsession.
